If someone had told me years ago that one day I would be blessed with the opportunity to share with others some of the things I’ve learned along the way in my journey, I wouldn’t have believed them. In fact, back then surrounded by Ramen noodles and pawn tickets, I probably would have been an @ss about it and laughed in their face but alas today… the joke is on me.
I’m so thankful for the wonderful opportunity I had today to speak to the many talented Design and Media students at the Atlanta Technical College with @mangelo_productions! It was a profoundly humbling experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything! Being able to not only hear from other filmmakers and videographers but to share mistakes I’ve made along the way and offer insight, encouragement, and hopefully advice to keep them from falling into some
of the same pitfalls I did… was an experience that’s difficult to do justice with words.
I can’t wait to see some of the amazing work these artists will unleash on the world. And when you do, just remember to pay it forward…
